TruLight is a premium permanent outdoor LED lighting system that mounts below your fascia and soffit and stays there year-round. Control colors, patterns, and schedules from the TruLight app.
TruLight uses 6 LEDs per light (3 RGB + 3 dedicated warm white) compared to the industry standard of 3. This means 2-3x the brightness, true warm white and pure white modes, a 48V system for better efficiency, integrated motion sensors, and the most patterns and music sync options available.
Yes! The TruLight app lets you create and save custom patterns, choose from thousands of pre-made options, and sync your lights to music.
Yes, and this is one of TruLight's biggest advantages. With 3 dedicated warm white LEDs plus 3 RGB LEDs per light, you get two white modes: a real warm white (perfect for stone and stucco) and a true pure white by running all 6 LEDs together. Standard RGB systems can only approximate white with a bluish tint.
Yes. TruLight supports zoning, so you can run different colors or patterns on different areas of your home independently.
TruLight LEDs are rated for 100,000 hours. That's 30-35 years at 8 hours per night. The system is built to last a lifetime.
Price depends on roofline footage, coverage, access, controls, and installation details. Use the online quote tool to start with the property address. TruLumens confirms the final price in writing.
Every TruLumens installation includes the TruLight lifetime warranty. Lifetime means the rated life of each part: 100,000 hours for the lights, which is 11.4 years from installation, and five years for the control box. The lights and control box are replaced in full for the first five years, then the lights are prorated through year 11.4. The full terms are on the warranty page.
Millions of colors and thousands of patterns. The TruLight app gives you full control to customize exactly the look you want.
TruLight is professionally installed to ensure safety, proper wiring, and the cleanest possible look. Our team handles everything.
The control box mounts in your garage or a discrete exterior location. It's small, clean, and out of the way.
Essentially none. There are no bulbs to replace, no annual visits needed, and no maintenance fees. That's the whole point of permanent lighting.
Yes. Individual LED lights can be replaced if needed, though with 100,000 hour ratings, it's extremely rare.
Installation timing depends on roofline footage, height, access, wiring, and the selected coverage. TruLumens confirms the schedule with the project quote.
LED power use depends on the length of the system, brightness, colors, patterns, and nightly schedule. TruLumens can review the planned system settings with you.
Yes. Full brightness control is available through the app.
Nearly invisible. The low-profile aluminum track mounts below the fascia and soffit, color-matched to blend right in. Beautiful at night, discreet during the day.
Most do. Permanent lighting is generally more HOA-friendly than seasonal lights because it's clean, professional, and architectural. We can help you navigate your specific HOA requirements.
No. The track mounts below the fascia and soffit, so we never touch your gutters or roof.
Permanent lighting replaces the yearly install and takedown cycle. The financial comparison depends on what you currently spend on seasonal lighting and the scope of the permanent system.
